Adult Day Services At A Glance

The Faison Center’s Adult Day Services program is designed to enrich the lives of individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities. This strategic community-focused program develops, arranges, and coordinates learning opportunities like daily living skills, health and recreation programs, social skills, and volunteering. Individuals enrolled in the program participate in enriched activities such as visits to parks, coffee shops, shopping centers, concerts, and sporting events where their individualized goals are achieved. The Adult Day Services program is open during regular daytime hours.

Who can participate in Faison’s Adult Day Services?

Faison’s Adult Day Services focus on community-based skill-building for individuals 18 years and older and who have a diagnosis of autism. The focus on skill-building is tailored to each individual’s needs and desired outcomes within areas such as social skills, health and well-being, recreation, self-reliance, and fostering maximal independence.
