Faison Services At A Glance
Over its 25 year history, the Faison Center has continuously evolved to meet the changing and growing needs of our community. The result is a broad array of programs serving individuals starting as early as 18 months through adulthood.
About Our Lifespan Model
All of The Faison Center’s programs are crafted to meet the needs of those we serve at different points in their lives. Our Behavioral Health Clinic offers a range of programs, such as speech services, diagnostic evaluations (for any age), and the Early Education Center for toddlers ages 15 months to 5 years.
The Faison School in Richmond and Peninsula School in Newport News serve students ages 5 to 22 years old who are unable to receive an education in the public school setting.
As individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities transition into adulthood, The Faison Center offers two residential options. One option is the Faison Residence, which serves individuals with autism who are able to live semi-independently. The second option is the Family Partner Program for those who may need significant support. We also provide Adult Day Services where our clients are encouraged to continue developing daily life skills and to grow through recreation and volunteer opportunities.
We encourage you to read about all of these programs in more detail. If we can help you or anyone you know in any way, please do not hesitate to contact us.
