Heidi Garcia is a seasoned professional in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), with a robust educational background and extensive experience in education and behavioral health. She holds a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in English, along with a Master of Teaching in Secondary Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. Additionally, she has specialized training with an Autism Spectrum Disorders Certificate. Her dedication to improving the lives of children and families through evidence-based practices has been a hallmark of her career.
Currently, Heidi serves as the Director of Education at The Faison Center’s Peninsula School, where she oversees enrollments, financial operations, and program expansions. She collaborates closely with clinical teams to ensure the highest standards of service. Prior to this role, Heidi was the Assistant Director Senior Behavior Analyst at the same institution, where she established insurance-based services and developed individualized behavior plans. Her extensive experience also includes roles such as Behavior Analyst, Manager of The Faison Residence, and various teaching and leadership positions. Heidi’s career is marked by her commitment to developing professional relationships, conducting thorough assessments, and implementing individualized support plans, making her a vital asset to the field of behavior analysis and education.
